The world has changed significantly since we founded Brobyggerne.
Through all these changes, a visionary idea and a small association have grown bigger. In response to polarization and the sometimes hopeless world around us, we at Brobyggerne have insisted on bringing people together across differences and despite disagreements to build bridges and create hope that dialogue is part of the solution. Summer and vacation are just around the corner for many. Soon we will be enjoying ice cream and beaches, but before then we would like to thank all Bridge Builders for a wonderful spring. Although the world's turmoil and unrest may cast dark shadows, your insistence on dialog and vibrant engagement shines brightly. At the awards evening, we want to focus on people on the edge and pay tribute to a special passionate person who has made a difference for vulnerable citizens. On Thursday, April 4, Brobyggerne, led by Özlem Cekic, held its annual Ramadan dinner.
It was a successful evening, but one that also sparked some debate.
